Mueller’s Auto Offers Auto Repair Services You Can Count On
The name Mueller has been in the automotive industry in Pueblo, CO since the mid-’70s. My Grandfather, Alvin Mueller, ran a service station a stone’s throw from the new location where my Dad, Roger Mueller, worked as a mechanic for many years. When the service station was sold by Grandpa, Dad worked on large equipment until he decided that his passion was for cars and truly wanted to fulfill the need he saw in the community. The need for honesty and integrity. Dad chose to do that in the form of what he knew and started Mueller’s Auto in 1983. Dad’s passion for cars was what drove me to take apart and put back together everything I could just like Dad did and someday be like him.
I spent every chance that I could when I wasn’t in college hanging out at the shop, helping the guys, learning the ins and outs of cars, and finally, in 2003, they put me on the payroll. Since 2003 I grew in my skills and went from Lube Tech to General Tech, to Service Manager, and back to Master Technician and Shop Foreman, where I made the majority of business decisions to take the stress from Dad. This gave Dad the opportunity to fulfill another passion, and that is for ministry; he purchased mountain property to build a family retreat for families to get away from the every day, to reconnect to God away from it all, entrusting me to carry on and run Mueller’s Auto. My family has flourished because of his commitment, and his sacrifice of building a successful business that I have the privilege of continuing. Now I get to raise my 2 boys with my wife to hopefully carry on the family business someday. I look forward to carrying out his legacy and hopefully having my boys follow in Dad’s and Grandpa’s footsteps.
